My swag bag and super cool name tag
The weekend before last I attended the 3rd Annual Foodbuzz Blogging Festival. I am fortunate that this conference is held in San Francisco and even luckier that I live a short train ride from San Francisco. So off I went to the big city to eat some good food, meet some cool people and learn some stuff. |

The Grand Hyatt |
I checked in my hotel, The Grand Hyatt and honestly all I did was enjoy the solitude of my big room.
Don't get me wrong. I love my kids, but quiet is a nice thing. I should have taken a picture of the room of the view of the UGG store next door, but I neglected to do so. You'll just have to take me at my word that the accommodations were nice. And boy that UGG store sure was nice to look at as I slowly lowered the power blinds in the room, never to open them again for the rest of my stay.

Sabra Hummus Hors d'oeuvres @ the Terra Gallery
The first night there was a cocktail reception, followed by another cocktail reception, an Foodbuzz Blogger Awards ceremony, and dessert. The food was lovely, the alcohol was FREE and the people were great fun. But I have no major complaint. If you want people to listen to an awards ceremony, you need to give them a place to sit and actively encourage them to shut up. This did not happen and as a result I have NO idea who won anything. The petulant selfish part of personality (or the dominate part some would say) really does not care as I was not nominated, but still it would have been nice to hear something. There are some more photos below of some of the delicious food and cocktails served that evening. |

Oh, I know how you feel. That EMPTY hotel room was complete and utter bliss!
