A Major Award

Well, we did it!  I made it into the Top 25 Vegetarian & Vegan Mom Blogs of 2012.  A big thanks to everyone who voted day after day.  I really appreciate it.

In addition to the fine badge you see above and on the side bar of my blog, I also completed an interview about my blog and about not being attacked by cows.  Here is a widget for that interview.

Award Season

Oh my goodness! Not just one award, but four! A big thank you to Allison at Just Like Grandma's Cooking for these awards. Please take a minute to check out her wonderful blog.

About me:

1. I learned to knit about two years ago, but thanks to the children I have not really had time to do too much knitting. I have only recently picked it back you again and now I cannot seem to stop. In fact I am working on a knitting blog, called The Confessions of a Yarn Addict, but don't go looking for it just yet. It is still very much a work in progress
   
2. I smell glasses before I pour stuff into them. I have no idea where this habit came from, but it is an invaluable trait for a stay at home who fills sippy cups all day long.
   
3. I really hate squirrels
