Makes 1 Sandwich:
2 slices good sandwich bread
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 slice of a ripe tomato
1 fresh basil leaf
2 teaspoons Challenge Dairy Tuscan Style herbed butter
- Preheat your griddle or frying pan. Butter your bread with the Tuscan butter. Starting with the bread butter side down, build the sandwich with the tomato, basil leaf and then the mozzarella cheese. Place the bread on top, butter side out.
- Cook the sandwich on your griddle or frying pan until golden brown. Allow to cool for 5 minutes so that the tomato is not too hot.
