12 oz package Morning Star Farm Vegetarian Crumbles
1/4 to 1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons taco seasoning (my recipe to follow)
10-12 taco shells
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
2 Roma tomatoes seeded and diced
iceberg lettuce, shredded
- Place frozen crumbles into medium sized skillet and cook on medium heat until they begin to thaw. Add water a little at a time as the crumbles cook until the desired consistency is achieved. Add the taco seasoning and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes making sure that the mixture does not become too dry. Set aside
- Heat taco shells according to the package instructions.
- Build your taco. Enjoy!
