Slow Cooker Maple BBQ Baked Beans

This recipe is adapted for the slowcooker from the Grit Resturant Cookbook. These beans are perfect for cookouts and picnics. While they are not actually baked they could be and usually are called baked beans.

3 (15.5 ounce) cans white navy beans
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon ginger
pinch of cayenne pepper
  1. Combine all ingredients into your slow cooker and stir until completely mixed together. Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!
