1/2 of my Basic Marinara Sauce recipe
1/3 cup of Merlot
2 tablespoon heavy cream
1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- Add the marinara sauce to a medium sized saucepan and heat over medium high heat until at a low boil. Add the merlot, cream and cheese. Continue to keep the sauce at a gentle boil and allow to cook, stirring occasionally, for about 15-20 minutes or until the sauce has reduced a bit.
- Serve over your choice of pasta.
