Spicy MicrowavePeanut Brittle

What's that you say?  Yes, this is my Microwave Peanut Brittle with some cayenne pepper added to it.
It's good.  You should try it.

Words are hard.  Mommy needs coffee.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups raw peanuts
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
cayenne pepper, as desired
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

The Tools
microwaveable bowl
sil-pat or parchment paper lined cookie sheet

The Microwaving
Combine the peanuts, sugar, salt, cayenne pepper and corn syrup together in a microwaveable bowl

Microwave on high for 5 to 7 minutes depending on the strength of your microwave

Remove from the microwave, and add the unsalted butter and vanilla.  Stir to combine.  Return the microwave and cook on high for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Add the baking soda

Stir it together and watch it foam up

Spread the brittle out onto a sil-pat and allow it to sit until it is, well, brittle.
