Here is another great recipe from the archives. This is a classic recipe perfect for sharing or saving for Santa.
For the Cookie
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoons salt
For the Coating
1/3 cup sugar
For the Garnish

- Cream the butter. Add the peanut butter and sugar and beat until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add the egg and vanilla, beat until combined. Then add in the milk and beat until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the sugar mixture to the flour mixture and mix until well combined. Cover and chill the batter for about 1 hour.
- Move the oven racks to the center of your oven and preheat you oven to 375°. Line a couple of cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Roll the batter into 1 inch balls and coat with sugar. Place each ball of dough on your prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Immediately upon removing from the oven, place an unwrapped kiss in the center of each cookie and press down.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack and enjoy your holiday baking.
