Balsamic Vinaigrette

This is a pretty basic vinaigrette dressing.  It is great on salads and as a marinade.  It is easy and simple to make and will last up to 7 days in the fridge.  Just take it out and let it come to room temperature. 

3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons minced shallot
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  1. Shake all the ingredients together in a jar with a tight fighting lid.  Enjoy!
