Honey Mustard Dressing

Normally I would photograph a salad dressing before tossing it into the salad, but I forgot.  So, above you have a photo of a salad tossed with Honey Mustard Dressing.  Or I should say you have to take my word that the photo above is of a salad tossed with Honey Mustard Dressing.  This recipe an Alton Brown recipe, so I cannot claim it as my own.  The only alteration I made was to the type of honey used because Alton's recipe called for medium body honey and I used Target brand honey.  I am just guessing that the honey sold at Target is no a medium bodied anything, but I am sure that is came from a bee...so it is honey.   Now, that leads me to disclose that honey is not strictly speaking vegan.  I would define it as a vegetarian product along the same lines as milk.  It is an animal bi-product and when gathered humanly should not harm the creature.

5 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons smooth Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  1. Combine the above in a bowl with a whisk until smooth.  Serve as a salad dressing or dip.
