Roasted Broccoli

Honestly, I could have sworn I had posted this recipe before.  I cannot find it in my archives, so here it goes.  If you have read this before on my blog than feel free to sing aloud or otherwise occupy yourself until my next posting.

4 cups broccoli florets, washed and dried
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 teaspsoon crushed red pepper (optional)
  1. Preheat the over to 450 degrees and cover a cookie sheet with heavy duty foil. Grease the aluminum foil so that the broccoli does not stick.
  2. Toss the broccoli with the oil, vinegar, garlic, and crushed red pepper (if using) until completely coated.  Place the cookie sheet in the oven and roast the broccoli for 15 to 20 minutes or until nicely roasted.
