Cherry Limeade-Tini

This cocktail is inspired by Cherry LimeAde. Like the Shirley Temple, I have taken a childhood favorite and sullied it with ample amounts of vodka. What can I say? I am fun like that. The recipe below is for two cocktails.

3 ounces Smirnoff Vodka
1 ounce lime juice
2 ounce simple syrup (see my recipe for simple syrup with my Lemon Drop Martini)
1 tablespoon grenadine
ice
Sugar for the rim

1. Combine the vodka, lime juice, simple syrup, grenadine and ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until the shaker is frosty and cold.
2. Using the strainer, pour into your prepared glasses.
3. Enjoy and be sure to drink responsibly.
