Garlic Bread

This garlic bread kick ass and takes names! It is adapted from a recipe found of the side of the Christopher Ranch Chopped Garlic jar. So you know it is good.
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 teaspoon parsley
1 loaf French Bread (the non sour dough kind), sliced lengthwise
  1. Combine the butter, cheese, garlic and parsley in a bowl. Resist eating it directly from the bowl. Spread onto both slices of French Bread.
  2. Place bread, butter side up on a baking sheet and place it under the broiler until the butter and cheese is melted and the bread is toasty. In my oven this takes about 3 minutes. Just keep and eye on it.
  3. Serve warm, at room temperature or cold. It does not matter. Enjoy!
