8 store bought tostada shells
2-4 cups refried beans (homemade or store bought)
shredded cheese
lettuce, shredded
tomatoes, diced
sour cream
jalapenos or slice black olives (based on your families tastes)
  1. Move oven rack to the lower middle position and preheat oven to 200°. Place tostadas in a single layer on a cookie sheet and back until crisp, about 5 minutes.
  2. Warm refried beans on the stove.
  3. Lay out the rest of your toppings so that your family can build their own tostadas.
  4. Enjoy!
