Burrito

Ah, now we have the culmination of this weeks recipes. Starting with the salsa on Tuesday everything was leading up to this delicious point. Sure, they can be consumed separately, but together they are something great!


8 large flour tortillas, warmed
black beans
short grain white rice (cooked with vegetable broth instead of water)
guacamole
shredded lettuce
sour cream
salsa
shredded Monterrey jack cheese
  1. Simple enough, start with the tortilla and top with with the remaining ingredients as they are listed above.
  2. To fold the tortilla, start with the ends, fold those those in, turn the tortilla/burrito (or actually the plate) a 1/4 turn and roll it up. Don't be gentle, it can take it. it should look like the burrito below.
